I started here…….. Building custom homes is where I first got started in construction. Framing custom homes put me through college. I have an uncle who was working for one of the largest custom home builders in the state and he said, “If you want to learn the house from beginning to end, start framing.” After I finished my degree in structural engineering I knew I had the ability to make myself a rare breed, an engineer with a contractor’s experience. And now as my roles have reversed, my engineering experience allows me to provide the best foundation to support our homes. I’m not some sort of mid-west engineer either, I don’t know anything about snow loads, frost or basements. The only engineering I know is the southeast, I’m Florida born and hurricane tested.
- Amanda Ross (Loving Wife)
I love the work that Curtis is doing right now. I especially love it because he is getting to follow his passion and work on other peoples homes. Not ours. I repeat, not ours. Babe I know I gave you a list last week but there are a few things I need to add to it........
- Shannon Ross (Concerned Mother)
There's nothing Curtis can't do. Except give his mother a call once in a while....... Honey, call your mother. You know how I worry
- Gretchen M. Stricker (Project Manager)
I have known Curtis Ross for 3 years. We worked together on a plaza deck restoration project at Sanctuary II at Longboat Key Condominium Association. The project included concrete repair, deck coating, expansion joint repair and planter relining. Curtis was knowledgeable, detail oriented and vital to the timely successful completion of this project. Curtis provided prompt, accurate and quality documentation for the project. Curtis was detail oriented and responsive to requests. I endorse Curtis Ross, an honest, high quality engineer that provides professional advice and documentation and brings a practical approach to issues on the job site. He is a good person to work with and a real team player
